Daisy (‘58 plate D90 garaged in Cotswolds) has just her LV insurance renewal and it has gone up by 80% to £450. This with 7y NCD, I’ve just turned 50 and no points. Why? Not aware of more being nicked round here, are LV trying to get out of Defender insurance, or have their costs gone up that much (profits)? Who would the hive-brain recommend please? 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance

The BBC covered is pretty well here.
But in short, claims are up, fixing cars costs more so in turn we all pick up the bill. Shocking price rises for insurance. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66466626 |
