[Wanted] Superwinch/winch remote socket
Has anyone got one of these they don't need anymore?

https://www.blackdownoffroad.co.uk/product...ol-socket/

Or even a controller and socket?

Cheers

I have a surplus plug and socket originally from a Husky 8, if I can remember where I've put them.

TamarBlue11, are you sorted yet?

I have found the one I remembered having, and actually found I have two, one is plastic-bodied and is exactly like the one in the link you posted, the other is metal-bodied but differs from the plastic version in that the female part of the connector in the remote and the male on the winch.

Both are sets consisting of the panel-mounted receiver and lead-mounted plug, the metal-bodied set has the whole of the remote lead (but not the remote itself). Both were removed from Fairy/Superwinch Husky winches by me, since I use an entirely different (and in all honesty better quality) connector on all my Huskys.

Let me know (PM is fine) if you are still looking, otherwise I will advertise them on the forum fisrt and then stick them on Ebay, since they are no use to me.

Bulgin Buccaneer waterproof connectors which I usually buy from RS Components. I was going to paste a link but the RS website is down for maintenance. Here's a link to the plug on the Bulgin site but you'll need to explore the other parts in the series. I use a cable plug, panel socket, with waterproof caps on each and a strain relief sleeve on the cable. I've used these for years, they are economical, reliable, robust, versatile, and fully waterproof. They are also available with a huge range of numbers of pins, and the male and female parts are interchangeable.
