This one has quite a lot going for it, and the price is not bad at the moment.

That looks to be an astonishingly original and unmolested 86", definitely a thing of rare beauty!
I just hope and pray that however buys it doesn't "restore" all the originality and history out of it, as seems to be the current fad. It is along time since I have seen a vehicle that has had so few alterations and genuinely is in pretty much ex-factory condition. Personally I'd lose the amber front indicators and refit a electro-mechanical fuel pump (that looks like an electronic one to me) and leave it at that. It will be interesting to see what that one goes for. Very lovely! |

It does look cracking. Guesses as to what it might sell for? S1 prices seem to be all over the place!

I've bee watching a couple of very nice original unmolested* examples (one 80" and a 107") lately which have been advertised for quite along time at very reasonable prices and haven't sold, so I think that there is a chance that some degree of sanity is returning.
* by which I mean that they haven't spent 30 years as triallers, rotted away completely, or had all the originality "restored" out of them. |

Prices vary at a crazy level…it’s a minefield.
So many over value their rust bucket bitsa. Even more are economical with the truth. Traders playing private…Private individuals with little knowledge. The classic auction made £16500…. This seems fair and a reasonable reflection that prices have reduced over last 2 years. I’ve looked at 5 and no light bulb moment yet 😂 I’m in no rush..it will come Clemmo Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow....
