Unable to quote the last post
The last post in a thread doesn’t give me the quote option. It might seem unnecessary to quote the immediately preceding post, but how often does the reply end up on the next page?

Ah. I always search before posting but didn’t think to on a feedback thread.

Most sites I visit have both buttons, and the user can choose to quote or not.

The next page thing is still an issue.

Another site I frequent limits quote depth level to two. That’s great, but they don’t provide any automation to prune the excess quotes, and often people butcher the tags and end up misquoting.

No, really it isn't. It is easy to quote part or all of the last post, just sufficiently involved to discourage people from using it as the easy option. It is one of several sensible features that make this forum better than the rest.

That’s exactly what I do, and I don’t really find it difficult at all. But I’m used to editing quotes.

It’s just odd to me. I’ve never seen this on another forum.
