England 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
[Wanted] Series 1
I’m looking for a nice Series 1
Not an immaculate not n bolt restoration
Not a non-running wreck

Somewhere in the middle
Useable, running and probably needing ongoing improvement.

I believe rolling restoration covers it Thumbs Up

Let me know WHY?

This one has quite a lot going for it, and the price is not bad at the moment.

Looks a nice honest thing, with a honest description, definitely worth a look.

You could speak to Jon Holmes at https://www.crosschannelclassics.com/

He has got a few containers coming in from Oz shortly which will no doubt be full of little gems! Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

That looks to be an astonishingly original and unmolested 86", definitely a thing of rare beauty!

I just hope and pray that however buys it doesn't "restore" all the originality and history out of it, as seems to be the current fad.

It is along time since I have seen a vehicle that has had so few alterations and genuinely is in pretty much ex-factory condition. Personally I'd lose the amber front indicators and refit a electro-mechanical fuel pump (that looks like an electronic one to me) and leave it at that.

It will be interesting to see what that one goes for. Very lovely!

It does look cracking. Guesses as to what it might sell for? S1 prices seem to be all over the place!

I've bee watching a couple of very nice original unmolested* examples (one 80" and a 107") lately which have been advertised for quite along time at very reasonable prices and haven't sold, so I think that there is a chance that some degree of sanity is returning.

* by which I mean that they haven't spent 30 years as triallers, rotted away completely, or had all the originality "restored" out of them.

Prices vary at a crazy level…it’s a minefield.
So many over value their rust bucket bitsa.
Even more are economical with the truth.
Traders playing private…Private individuals with little knowledge.

The classic auction made £16500…. This seems fair and a reasonable reflection that prices have reduced over last 2 years.
I’ve looked at 5 and no light bulb moment yet 😂
I’m in no rush..it will come
