T-max split charge screen problems

Anyone have a Tmax split charge setup and experienced this problem also? I fitted it a few weeks ago and it's been faultless but all of a sudden I go to the Land Rover and the screen is always on except its just displaying the top lights as shown here (normally all four but this time I'd just got home from driving it and it was showing just two). I can hear the relay activate so it appears to be working correctly so it's just the screen that does not display correctly

When turning the display on it will show correctly as shown here although before this problem started the orange 14v light would not be displayed.

Any ideas on the problem and how it can come out of nowhere like this?

EDIT: Upon further research it appears this is the correct operation of the display, can anyone with experience on this system confirm this? Why would it not show like this until now? 1999 Land Rover Defender 110 td5 station wagon
