Just remember that the Td5 ECU is not OBD compatible so any credentials in that direction are not valid. Even with a nanocom there is not all that much information because the ECU is quite a simple affair, but there is some critical information to troubleshoot so still worth having a reader.
It would surprise me if anyone would have gone through the effort to make their reader backwards compatible with an old unique code and it would be interesting to hear what other can report. Internet so far is not reporting any luck with any alternatives typically consensus is that only Nanocom or Hawkeye can read the Td5 coding. Edit: I also have a disco 4 and use the IID GAP tool and although this company is specialised in Land Rover products they haven't bothered to include Td5 support... |

I was surprised to see my mate using a Launch diagnostic iPad on his Td5, as I thought it wouldn’t be compatible. So some other tools do work on them

I've got a BT IID for my L322, so when I collected the TD5 I thought that it just be a case of buying the license to access the TD5 ECU. Such a shame that IID don't provide this capability.
