Wondering if your car is old enough to have an Alarm Spider in the dash board.
I had a Discovery 1 V8 1996 and they had known issues with it. It immobilizes the engine but it will still turn over. There is available on a ebay as bypass wiring fix which is plug and play. Good luck Don Cheers Don. |

Thanks all
Charlie - Yes Don - no, it's too old to have anything like that I'm purchasing a new Hall effect sensor for the dizzy and a new king lead - it's had an ignition amp and coil so far (as well as some wiring and checks with spare parts) 90 V8 CSW - 1988 |

Sorry - no, still not running
Made the decision to find someone to do much more to it. I have another engine to go in and need some bulkhead work done at the same time. I'd like somewhere local to me that can take it, fix it and bring it back in a better state. Suggestions have been Safari Engineering in Eversley as the local places have either closed or don't do welding. 90 V8 CSW - 1988 |

Final update on this one.
It's being collected next week and I don't expect it back for a while. The bulkhead is going to be done as well as the engine build and a whole host of new bits to make it all work. Oh my aching wallet!! 90 V8 CSW - 1988 |
