Power routing battery seatbox to drivers seatbox?
My newly acquired Landy is spaghetti junction and I'm in the process of planning a large scale wiring tidy up.

Putting all the relays / fuses for all the extra circuits (lights/heating elements and the like) under the drivers seat seems the most sensible solution to me. I'm tempted by dual batteries in the future so I dont want to stick them there.

What is the best route for getting battery +ve and -ve to the drivers seatbox? I do have a master cut off on battery side.

I took battery positive to the drivers seatbox under the carpet and across the top of the transmission tunnel.

Took the negative from under the car where the factory installed positive is routed.

I did install two flexible metal conduits between the two boxes and routed some of the wires through them. They do come with screw ends. I prefer them compared to simple rubber grommets as you can't get the later really waterproof. The metal conduit itself protects the wiring from stones and chafing.

I used flexible conduit under the floor to join each seat box securely fixed using compression glands at each point. I ran a 50 amp cable for positive and negative to a new blue seas fusebox sited under the drivers seat. I did use a properly fixed megafuse in the battery box for that cable run. 👍 2015 90 XS Santorini Black
