Got a couple of stone chips now. Any recommendations on who’s paint to use?

Absolutely true. Touch Up pens are for Range Rovers not for Defenders. It’s the only way to build a community which acts in the same spirit as the legacy Defender.

HALFORDS.
Used them for my Land Rover New Defender, Fuji White. Matches perfectly. The pen has tiny brush, and a very tiny prick type thing for really intricate work. |

Whilst I admire the philosophy, the paintwork on my old defender was in mint condition as well! |

I’m with you, don’t let it get tatty. You’ve invested heavily to get it so why would you not keep it tidy, especially as a touch up pen costs so little. Ride like you stole it!!

Buy the right colour 150g spray can from Land Rover.
Shake minimum 2 minutes. Spray for half a second into lid & then apply with Winsor Newton series 7 size 0 brush or 00 or 000 brush. The reason why one pulls over as far as possible for a roadtrains but nevertheless can't avoid stone chips. https://vimeo.com/364283817 Visitor - Freelander owner |
