With the voice alerts you have to adjust the volume when the car is talking so it may be the same with the chimes. You will probably have to switch to voice to lower the volume then switch back to chimes as I would imagine it's difficult to adjust whilst it's making a quick chime noise. Cheers Ian

I'll try that, adjusting the Nav voice down and seeing if it affects the chime. I don't think it will as the music mutes when the voice is speaking, but music is uninterrupted by chimes. I'll report back.
Any ideas about the voice switching back from UK to US? |

What are the chimes warning you about?
Mine used to make annoying noises when I approached speed camera but that can be turned off in the settings. |

The chimes are a substitute for voice guidance when navigating. Where she’d say “in a quarter mile turn right”, you get two beeps. They’re really obnoxious, not gentle chimes like I get in my Lincoln.
So I tried, the chimes aren’t tied to the voice guidance volume. Still hoping someone knows how to make the UK voice setting stick. |
