Air con fuse keeps blowing
I could do with some help on this one!

I have a Puma defender and the air-con had stopped being cold. I thought it was likely the gas so bought one of those top-up things from Halfords.

When attempting to recharge the aircon I discovered that the condenser wasn’t engaging. After a bit of investigating I discovered fuse 28 (20A) was blown. I replaced it and it sorted the condenser. The gas was a bit low so I began topping it up, but while doing that the fuse blew again.

Any ideas what could be making the fuses blow? Could it be an issue with the condenser working too hard? Or more likely to be a short or wiring problem?

There's no hole or crack in the pipework from the condenser? Making it work overtime. Otherwise electrically you'd be looking for a bad earth or using the haynes manual for a rubbed wire.
