Don't see why Ineos should give two hoots tbh. The Land Cruiser Prado has been around for decades.... and currently on sale in the UK badged as Land Cruiser (and looks completely minging). This is just the latest revision with more funky styling. Although Toyota have done this before with the FJ Cruiser, which was also Prado based. So it is nothing new. As for the 70 Series, well it isn't available in many markets. It is also extremely basic and 1990s plastic fantastic inside. They also cost very similar to the Grenadier but generally lower spec and lower performance. Just a reliability reputation. |

I think you might need to re-read the design brief.... |

Well if it’s anything like as reliable as my 1997 LC Colorado (Prado) then I may be interested. The price in the US has been touted at mid $50K for the more basic 1958 model which is all I would need. The styling is really good IMO and much better than the current LC.

Yet still just the Prado….. I’d guess probably more of an evolution than a revolution given the similar layout and specs. |

There's a market for both. It just comes down to volumes.
I have a deposit down on the new Land Cruiser, but the only things that garbs me are the boot space and tailgate. Useful but I've learned to live with my Defender now and the boot's limitations, and there's something about 6 vs 4 cylinders and air suspension that I like. Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits.
