United Kingdom 1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Epsom Green
Howling moon setup particularly the annexe
I need to pick the collective brain power on this one.

I bought the entire set up through the forum 2nd hand last year and it is awesome however as with everything landy there is a but.

While in storage the annexe (heavy ripstop version) has suffered from being used by some sort of rodent as a urinal.

I was hoping that with rain and wind the smell would go but it really isn't, what can I clean it with and will I need to reproof it afterwards?

In 35 odd years of camping this will be the first time I've cleaned anything other than a bit of mud of a tent. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.

Ahhhh little blighter pee'd on your canvas. It is a tough one to get out. I had a cat do the same a while back and it took quite some effort to get the smell out.

The solution (hey hey Rolling Eyes ) I used was a 50:50 solution of white vinegar and warm water. It took four attempts to get the canvas clean. Remember to properly wash out the vinegar and reproof using your choice of water based proofing.

I found laying the canvas out on the grass and soaking it worked better than trying to work it in the bath Shocked
