Heater fan
Ok, so the heater fan stopped working. Been reading a few of the other topics about this, but not found an exact match.

So the fan stopped. Checked the fuse, but haven’t found any broken ones.
Read a topic about spraying some WD40 down into the fan, so I opened up and sprayed some. The fan is totally free, not stuck like many others. But as I tried to help the fan spinning by hand, then it would work on both speeds for the rest of the drive. If I turn it off on the switch and back on again it will start. But not if kept off for a while. It will also start on the highway when it gets enough of a “push start”.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the motors brushes are either dirty or badly worn. The only way forward is to take the heater box out and inspect the motor. At worst it is a new motor that you need.
