Hi all,
I'm selling my genuine parts NAS rear step / tow bar - fitted brand new by the main dealer in June. It has been used and has a couple of marks on it but they could be polished out. It also has some Waxoyl on it as it wasn't taken off before the 110 was treated. It comes with all spacers and fittings and can come with the bolts if you really want them but they went rusty straight away so I'd suggest new ones (best to fit new ones anyway). Click image to enlarge Cost new was £357 - so I'd like £200. I've only removed it to fit my Dixon Bate adjustable tow bar as I need to swap hitches and heights frequently. Very heavy so collection / relay is best although I can wrap it in something if you want to arrange a courier. Cheers, John John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Nice try I try to price things fairly in the hope that karma will allow me to buy bits reasonably - doesn't always work though John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

If the sale falls through, then I would like 2nd dibs please.
I thought the 90 & 110 part numbers are different: STC 50269 AA for the 90 STC 50301 for the 110 Did get that off eBay mind so take it with a pinch of salt! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Defen...2312600f4e |

The part numbers are different - the step is the same but I'm not sure if the brackets to the the chassis legs are different.
This is obviously a 110 step. I'll let you know when I hear back from pjb John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

Hi John
I'll be honest thought they were the same step, bolted through the chassis What fixings does it have to the chassis If they look different then As you've another interested party with a 110 then let pie cost have it. If it falls through will have it & try & get correct fixings Anyone out there with a 90 one v interested Regards Paul 2020 P300 HSE |

Paul,
There are two bars that go from the centre of the step back underneath and attach to the chassis where the lashing eyes are. I don't know if the 90 and 110 ones are different length or not. I can't see any other reason for different part numbers though Maybe someone who has fiited a 110 tow bar of any sort to a 90 can confirm? I have fitted a 110 step to my 90.
The support bars had to be warmed up at one end and straightened, add a slight twist so they sat flat near the tank, cut down and re-drilled. Was straight forward enough took around 1/2 hour to do both. |
