Go to your local NFU mutual would be my advise. I guess it might fall under farm diversification.

Funny that . we are with NFU. I explained it all to them last year only to review the policy at renewal (finding it has gone up £400) to see the £5k limit still there in the small print.
I am taking it up with them as we speak T |

My advice would be stick with them, sometimes they are dearer, but you get what you pay for and deal with someone local. Anyone I know that has problems, accidents or needs a pay out, they tend to just pay it out quickly, the cheaper ones will nickel and dime you and try and wriggle out. Your premium drops each year and all insurance has risen.
I guess you’re in a odd situation as it’s a farm and you don’t farm? |

I had a similar issue and went with Frontier. Lots of photos and serial numbers required but its an easy process. Unfortunately my wife discovered how much my road and grave bikes were worth..
The key is to never be under insured. I have an old colleague that got caught out by this. You'd be surprised how quickly things add up! Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy. |

Maybe it comes down to your local NFU office. I have up to £10k of wine covered in a storage room attached to our garage. It is locked with a secure door though.

I am going through it with the NFU office shortly.
AMB is your wine listed on your schedule ? I would expect any variation from the standard policy conditions to be written down somewhere. I expect that I am covered at the moment but there is no note on the policy to say so. I would jolly well hope so for just south of £2k ! |

Yes, it's down as 'wine collection'. There's a limit per bottle and no accidental damage cover.
