My initial thought was ford transit connect, but that wouldn't be deep enough so I'll change my plea to ford ranger.

I would agree with Rosco, a Ford Ranger with the engine cover missing Cheers Ian

I will hazard a guess as being something from VW.
Edit: I will dismiss this, VW coolant expansion tanks are usually spherical. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black Last edited by Dinnu on 11th Jul 2023 6:47am. Edited 1 time in total |

when the 300TDI was no longer needed by LR the tooling went to Brazil and updated to the International HS 2.8 TGV for the Ford Rangers built for the local market.
So my guess is Ford Ranger (Brazil). |

Looking at the wiper arrangement and location of pedal boxes etc, this is RHD, so my thoughts would be along the line of Australian.
Possibly Ranger, as folks have said before, but the air filter looks more like a Mazda which might actually tie in slightly better with Aussie influences… Interesting |

Mazda and Ford did have a relationship a few years back with some models wearing different badges.
Australian Rangers are made in Thailand (i believe) but i have no idea of engines but the Mazda version would make sense to come off the same production line, similar to the Spanish built Nissen Navara and the short lived Mercedes pick up. |

I assume what every it is in, it isn’t the standard engine for it. The fuel filter bracket, the hose from air filter box, the top rad hose, for instance all look non standard/home altered.
