Would not bother with genuine, Stick to well known brands such as Delphi, Lockhheed and mintex and you will be fine. They normally make the genuine bits and you save money.

Dont bother for pads and discs. LOF, Brembo etc all the big brands always good.
Brembo pads are an aggressive compound, Ferrodo are always good. Calipers genuine/AP Instagram @defender_ventures Empire Tuning - Agent |

My advice is don't put ebc pads up front. No bite. Any we'll known make, mine are ferodo and they're fine. People rave about LOF, so that would be what I'd buy.

Many thanks all. I've gone for the LOF front and rear kits - standard road (I drive like Miss Daisy and the LR standard set up is more than plenty for me).

I used the standard road spec ones on my old TD5 double cab, never felt they needed more and I did a lot of single track driving and towing at least 3 tonnes in the horse trailer, I never felt I needed more bite. They were on par with the 4pot 360mm brembos on my L322 TDV8 in terms of stopping power. They were also vastly better than the brakes on the L200 I drove, stopping that with 1.7 tonnes on the back wasn't fun. |
