I have a 2002 110 TD5 HT and have had central locking retrofitted.
It works very well except that the central locking seems to activate on a timer and auto locks itself. This happens when the ignition is off and after a couple of minutes it locks up. One of these days I'll leave the keys inside it when it happens which won't be much fun! Does anyone know if it's possible to reconfigure the central locking using a Nanocom? When you say retro-fitted do you mean LR retro-fitted or after market stand alone retro-fitted?

It was an aftermarket hardware kit but has all been wired into the 10AS so runs off the main key fob. As far as I can tell the truck thinks it has genuine CL fitted.
It was installed by an excellent auto electrician who knows land rovers backwards, but I've moved away from his area otherwise I'd ask him to look at it. Thanks for the link, I'll take a look.. Ok so it should act like the LR CL then. I think your problem is that "Relock" has been enabled. So yer you need a Nanocom to disable it.
I am a bit far away, but if you are p[assing you are more than welcome to stop in and use my Nanocom to sort this out. |
