There probably is a reason as to why some people get updates before others but I'm afraid nobody outside of Land Rover knows that reason. It does seem to be potluck and you will get the update whenever LR's download computer decides to send it to your car, you just have to wait unfortunately Cheers Ian

I've just had a notification that my update from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 has downloaded and I've set it to update now, hopefully 4.0.0 follows shortly Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

Just confirming that the Apple CarPlay maps do not appear in the HUD.
The dash integration though is very impressive. I think this will switch me back to Apple from the LR sat nav. |

I had a 2nd update arrive overnight - I assume it’s a maps or Infotainment update but………. I also notice that on the Pivi screen bottom left corner I now have a P icon superimposed on the camera button. I don’t see what it does though, I assume it’s something to do with using the cams for 🅿️- parking
Edit - just been out to the car to play and see what happens if you tap the cam icon now I get a magnified view of the car in front superimposed on the top of the camera view Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

The parking cameras are much more useful than they were previously as a result of this upgrade. I always got frustrated that I couldn't see the location of the wheels in relation the kerb, but that has been fixed with this update.

Well my car updated to 3.3.3 on 27th of July and it's just updated to 4.0.0 today
Click image to enlarge Everything seems to be working OK, still have wireless car play and now have apple maps in the driver's led screen Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

Got the 4.0.0 udate today.
Great to have Apple Maps directly in front of me. It is reassuring to drive in unknown cities and have the 3D pictures of all the buildings around you. I switch to full screen map display directly in front of me. Well done JLR. 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history) |

Can you disable the Apple Maps integration? I don’t have an issue with it necessarily but it annoys me that it’s on by default every time I start the car - I want the pivi map to be the default.

To use Pivi maps instead of Apple maps press this button
Click image to enlarge and then choose Pivi from this screen Click image to enlarge Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

I am aware of that. But having to do it every time you start the car is becoming a bit annoying.
Previously whichever it was set to, whether Pivi or the phone, it would remember. |

I think mine seems to remember which one is chosen, I will have to take more notice of it to make sure. Cheers Ian

I still have 3.3.2. Two weeks ago I got the message to update to 3.3.3. But it seems that this did not work. I am still on 3.3.2 and there is also no message anymore that an update (to 3.3.3) is available.
Is there a way to update "manually"? I would also like to update to 3.3.3... and then of course to 4.0.0. Will the updates be prioritized in the UK and then in other countries? I am from Stuttgart/Germany? BR To finish first, you first have to finish! |

Running on Android, whatever I tried on the settings Phone or Car it still displays nightmode with Google maps on the IDD.
Click image to enlarge Also no new camera reversing lines on the screen. The P is on the camera symbol. No Mud flaps for my 90.! ----------------------------------------- P300 S MY21 on air, adv.+ offroad pack, DRL+fog, Dinamica Suedecloth + Ebony headliner/Cross Beam- Many Mods.. |
