 Click image to enlarge Hi Guys, I am back off to Oz so reluctantly have to sell my ‘time warp' Landrover Defender 90 200Tdi Single Cab Pick-up. I have only owned the truck for 3 months, it was previously owned by one farming family and has been always stored under cover, hence it's amazing condition. Only 46,500 miles. This Defender is unmolested aside from the recent fitment of new Wolf HD wheels and Bridgestone KM02 AT tyres (£1,500). It is an incredibly rare find, dry stored from new and in amazing condition as it left the factory 30 years ago and comes complete with the original book pack and original tool kit. This example has a perfect bulkhead with no corrosion and a solid rust free ‘Dinitrolled’ chassis. The rear chassis cross member was replaced at some point. I have had new door hinges recently fitted as the originals were worn. The gleaming 'Portifino Red' paintwork is all original and in amazing condition. There are a few small scratches, marks and 'dents' in the aluminium body panels that could only be described as minor and reflect the genuine patina expected from a 30 year old classic Defender. The interior is likewise original and unmolested. Dark grey vinyl seats with only minor marks. The passenger seat base has a few small stitch seam repairs. A new OEM roof lining, under which hides a almost factory fresh roof with pristine paint and unblemished nuts and bolts. A high quality ‘Kenwood’ head unit and ‘Audison’ speakers have been recently installed. All interior panels and dashboard are excellent, with none of the usual cracking, splitting or breakages usually found. The rubber floor mats and surrounds have a few age related marks. The Defender is mechanically excellent as would be expected from the low mileage from what is regarded by many as the most robust and reliable Defender engine and drive-train fitted. Recent MOT and a full service history with a very recent service that included a cam-belt change along with a complete change of the differential oils, gearbox and transfer case oils by renowned Defender Specialist 'Foleys'. It drives beautifully, tight with no knocks or clunks from the suspension or drivetrain. It is USA exportable and can of course be ‘converted’ into a ‘Hardtop’ or ’Soft-top’ if desired. I believe this is probably the very best Defender 90 200Tdi single cab in the country. It's actually one of those vehicles where the description 'must be seen to be fully appreciated' is totally appropriate. You will not find a better example. I have sought advice on price and am asking £22.5k. Happy to re-fit the original OEM steel wheels complete with 205/80/16 tyres and reduce the price by £1,200. It is a very regretful sale, however I cannot take it with me to Oz! I can send more photos on request. Located in Bishops Stortford, Herts. Thanks for looking, Pete.
