Click image to enlarge I've run out of things to do on this one it's just sat around in the garage and the wifey is complaining. It's therefore for sale with the intention of buying another project. Originally sourced from the Thatched garage who did a lot of work on it it was then taken on by me. Over the last few years it's done nearly no miles and has been a labour of love (as with them all) upgrading and changing and tweaking. Nearly everything. Some myself some with the assistance of Stagshaw Mileage is 27,500 ish. Will have fresh MOT First off it went to Pete for a 170bhp remap and hoses etc.. Wheels changed for Kahn 18" and a new set of boots Full rust treatment underneath recently reapplied (No rust) Output shaft changed to LOF's solid one piece and half shafts changed to solid Full LR approved service history Recently had all the front drive shafts etc changed as a precaution Sorted all the usual things like bushes, leaks, etc.. Little things like LOF springs. Auto windscreen wipers Exterior all the lights inside and out were changed to led and after 4 sets settled on the ORE ones currently installed. Front was already the stainless set by thatched garage with hidden lazer spots. (going to do this on all projects going forwards. All the chequer plate has been recoated with a new side step. All fixings changed to stainless on above Inside i'm a bit of an audiophile so spent far too much with Autosounds Newcastle on the setup. Had a new cubby box made with a built in Sub and amplifier. Added some USBs in the back for the kids. Added a custom amplifier into the cubby box. Upgraded all speakers to high end Audison version. Added a double din with wireless car play and android audio and a reversing optimill camera Thought i don't want to bump it so added parking sensors Sound deadened it to the point that everything has multiple layers. Except bonnet that just has one. Fully carpeted it with genuine LR carpet in the front and high end carpet in the rear and boot. Carpeted the rear sides (was going to replace with windows but like the look) Inside also replaced the front seats with premium Stagshaw premium leather ones. Leather was from Muirhead black with Silver stitch. Had the rear seats modified and recovered to match whilst adding rear seat heaters while at it. (activated from cubby box). All interior door cards wrapped to match All dash bits were changed to leather matching Sum visors are trimmed in the same leather and include a vanity mirror. (never seen this before) Stuck in a puma glovebox mod Added a set of genuine LR mats that covered all the lovely carpet. A full alcantara headlining installed. Lots of security i'm not going to mention. It's a love it or hate it Defender. Never seen mud. and is arguably as close to a Range rover as you can get in a Defenders body. It is not factory standard in nearly every way It's on Autotrader for 60k. This seems high but compared to some of them it's not. It's been a labour of love but anything else i do from this point on will in my view be too much. Don't really expect to sell it on here as i think it'll go to a non Defender lover that just wants a weekend toy. but open to sensible offers. Based "Up North" in Newcastle. The onlyi ssue is a bit of paint peel on the bumper so i'll be sticking one on for the new owner. or probably for me. Any questions just ask. She won't drive any of them. Prefers a Tesla. Suits me fine.... Kids don't want any of them to go. I've trained them well.
