2008 Puma 2.4 truck cab - Seatbelt buckle compatibility

Hi group,
i've two 2008 Puma 2.4L truck cab and the seat belt buckles are stuck on both cars.

i need to replace them and noticed there's 2 different types!

The type currently mounted (listed from 2007) is with solid metal L bracket and cost about £60

wondering if i can mount the cable type (listed up to 2006) wich costs about £20

for the 2 cars this makes about £160 saving i can put somehere else..

What's your thoughts? any pros or cons to switch between the 2 models?
