England 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Santorini Black
Pump learn and Pilot learn 2.4
Recently replaced engine, turbo, added Clutch Fix clutch, and intercooler (BAS Hi Flow)
Stretched timing chain - see my gallery for pics.
Had recon injectors and a Nakawotsit intake kit to fitted at the same time.
Have a BAS2 RRC with a 165 bhp tune.
All good.

Injector recoding worked.

Pump learn failed - cooling and inlet temp. too low, MAF reading 6 eurounitsthingys.
Contacted Pete Bell - Temps should be 75c cooling, inlet 15c+. MAF should be around 16. He suggested VCV replacement.
Did what Pete suggested - Pump learn completed.

However the Pilot learn would not complete, showed "Status 88" on the RRC.
Engine sounding sweet and averaging 27 mpg over 2500 miles.
E-mailed Pete.
The recon injectors were Ford rather than Land Rover, no problem with their operation but they probably stopped the Pilot learn from completing.

Not a problem as the Pilot learn would complete automatically over time.

I hope that the above info helps someone as tech phobic as me in the future.

Thumbs Up
