My first one had the matt chequer plates, but my new one has the gloss plates. The gloss plates are perfect, polish up nicely, and are just the right about of gloss black. There is a bit of a mishmash of matt and gloss black on these cars, with shiny parts including the side vent on the front wing, trim around the A pillars and rear lights. The only version of the defender that really works is the XS with the almost complete omission of matt trim, much better than the bottom of the car being gloss black šŸ¤®.

Where did you get them?

Thank you.

l misread your original post. I thought you put on alloy ones. I'd like to get alloy ones, but I'm not a fan of the newdefender ones because of the logo cut out they put in them.
