[Wanted] Front seat runners Puma
As title really, I have had a quick look around and can't see anything obvious, but ideally looking for new or mint used - assuming no-one has a set for sale, can anyone suggest a supplier or part numbers please. I would prefer genuine but if there is a quality after market item, I may settle for that. Thanks. Rob

Hi Rob,

Last year I was looking around for defender seat runners to put in my series 2a and if they where available they where eye watering prices, so ended up getting a pair of seats from a TD5 for £50 of ebay.
I stripped the runners down by drilling out the indentations in the rails using an M5 drill and then the runners came apart ok, so blasted them and repainted them and tapped the drill hole out M6 fine thread then assembled with new balls and put grub screws in the tapped holes to retain the balls and they work ok, the rest of the seats I just bought and upholstery kit.

The photo shows the holes with the grub screws on one side of the rail.
