My understanding was that they are fully stripped, down to the bones. Charlie

looks like they sprayed over that embossed logo at the starboard side back. Why not make that contrasting black?
Maybe it justifies the price: special. |

If true, that’s disappointing. Charlie

A pre-owned vehicle at least seven years old with an unspecified number of previous owners and unknown mileage which cost c.£25k new, and it is now £245k.

Early Pumas seem to be doing well overall . I think as soon as JLR decided they won’t be continuing the Defender circa 2014. The paint and corrosion etc has been known to be the worse on the later/last Pumas.. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

I've just seen this in Classic Land Rover magazine - pricey, undoubtedly, but the colour is fantastic!

At 405HP, isn't that down on the original works edition, which I thought, maybe mistakenly, was fitted with the same V8 as in the "new"/current Defender?

No, same engine as the 70th Edition, it’s the 5L V8 without the Supercharger.

Ah right, thank you,.... the supercharger would make a BIG difference, so the original "Work's Edition" has a bit of an advantage!.....I think 526HP!
Not that I could ever afford one, at 230,000 pounds, that would equate to well over $600,000 after duties & other charges. A new V8 90 Defender, called a P525 in Aussie costs $230,000 + registration, stamp duty, etc. (around $270K "driveaway") Pickles. |
