Defender hardtop floor catch
Morning this is my first post
Is anyone else having problems with the floor catch on new defender hardtop mine doesn't work it won't stay shut it looks like it's lockable but where is the key any ideas

You need to press down firmly on the top of the release handle with both thumbs, and you'll hear/feel a click as it latches.

lt doesn't need to be locked to keep it shut (once it's latched) but l received two small keys for it with my ignition keys.

Thanks I’ve tried pressing down firmly still won’t catch perhaps it needs adjusting,found keys in glove box ,can you open rear door from the inside? Seems odd if you can’t

There's another thread on the inside boot release. From what I remember, the release switch is tucked away. If not, Powerful UK do a kit.

Yes if it's a 90 Commercial the switch is on the side of the plastic trim on the left side. Not visible when looking into the rear of the vehicle
