Yes I expect I will just end up designing my own kit if nothing turns up.
If anyone has anything old and rough I will take it just to copy and have some cut/folded in SS. Old thread, no reference data though.
Includes links to the two sets of instructions, showing the different brackets for the different type bars. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54750.html 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

looking at martins link to instructions .if you have the later version without the bolt through the rubber at the bottom ..it looks easier and better(as it does away with that stupid bottom bracket it just attracts rot) if you make a copy of the l shaped bracket ,drill a hole in your bumper fit a couple of riv nits and fix the rubber to the l bracket ...to be honest that stupid bottom bracket in the new version serves no purpose other than to attach a fixing point for the rubber at the top of the bumper ....when i was fixing mine you realise how flimsily it is attached at the bottom and you would be far better just using a piece of angled SS. And also it was flatdog that do a top bracket not mud. https://www.flatdoguk.com/defender-soft-a-bar-brackets~2494 |

Here we go again
After many years the soft A-bar bracket on Miffy has all but disappeared. It was fine last year and got a coating of Lanoguard, but there is no sign of it now and not much more sign of the bracket either... Any new brackets on the market? or are we still at the "I am NOT paying that much for the same awful product" and finding another way...
