HMRC are useless, they let fraudsters operate right under their noses, whilst sending penalty notices to honest business who miss a PAYE rti deadline by a few day when still in credit on PAYE account.

As for companies house, they let directors rename and wind up a company whilst it is being prosecuted by HSE for the death of an employee and then set up a new company using previous company name. Hence fine will never be paid.

‘Trained incapacity’ is probably a factor with HMRC and other government bodies.

There are other more appropriate phrases/descriptions - some of which may have already been mentioned.

It’s one of the things that makes Great Britain great (apparently).
