2015 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Aintree Green

Defender Limp Mode Issue

Hi, just after some help on an issue we are having with our 2.2 TDCI. It keeps intermittently going in to limp mode. Having looked at the engine codes, the 2 below ones keep coming back each time.

P0048-12 & now P253F-00 Saying engine oil is deteriorated.

Did have a code for MAF sensor, but took this out and cleaned it, and checked wiring. Reinstalled and has been fine since.

Any Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Have you changed the oil? Is the 'Oil Service' message flashing up in the bottom of the LCD display on start up? Darren
