Anyone have a view on the White Steel Wheels that LR supply
Just wondered if anyone has good or bad feedback on these wheels. Not so interested in the tyre they are shod with, just the wheels.

thanks guys.

Mine go around ok, appear to be 100% round and haven't fallen off yet.

Nothing particularly good or bad to report. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

Here’s a picture of mine, use the steelies during winter months then put the alloys on for summer.
No complaints from me yet. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Mine have been perfect to date. I ceramic coated them when new so zero rusting!

Had mine on for around a year now and no problems with them and they have spent quite a bit of time off road, no sign of any rust but they did get a ceramic coating when I got them Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

For me the real downside of the steelies is their weight.
The unsprung weight is substantial higher than alloys, which changes the driving characteristics notable. No Mud flaps for my 90.!

They do rust, but they’re steel wheels - that’s what happens. Still preferable to alloys in my opinion.

The set on my first 90 had slight rust nothing major, current set that was on the 110 nothing but were only fitted for a few months.

I’ll possibly be selling them at some point. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Yes definitely fit a D250, unless the 22” rims were specified then I believe LR fit the larger brakes. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I’m a big fan of the steels, but this new 90 came on all terrain tyres and it’s a nice simple wheel design. I may just keep the steels just in case. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

lf you like the steel wheels, you can get a brand new set of five on Ebay for £5-600 which is a bargain as the tyres are £170 each.

People take them off their new Defender to fit alloys.

Currently there's about five sets on Ebay and a couple of sets in the "for sale" section of this forum. One set went on Ebay for £380
That's five brand new wheels with tyres.
