Open the bonnet and check the heater cables on the heat matrix. It’s on the passenger side of the bulkhead. Mine needed some wd40 and worked fine after.

Mine did just the same, I worked out it was not shutting off (moving to the right as you look at it from the open bonnet). Only by a tiny movement but it just kept the heater hot. I re set the cable at the heater valve end and it has been fine since. 1984 One-Ten CSW

Had some similar issues myself
Sometimes they would stay hot sometimes one side would be hot the other cold I found fitting a spring to the manifold helped somewhat I’ve ordered a replacement manifold to try try There’s quite a few that are the same eg Peugeot and Citroen etc 2023 Defender L663 V8 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 (gone) 2010 110 XS Utility 2.4TDCI 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 (gone) 2007 Discovery HSE TDV6 (gone) 1993 110 csw 200 tdi (gone) 1994 90 HT 300 tdi (gone) 1994 discovery 300tdi (gone) 90 hybrid 3.5 v8 (gone) Range rover bobtail 3.5 v8 (gone) |
