Hi All
Have been trying to fit a cruise control to my partners 2014 2.2 110 and have managed to blow the fuse to the break lights ... any idea on where the fuse is located please ?? have had a look at the under seat and under dash fuses but cant find the ones specific for the break lights ... and all the fuses I have pulled look fine and dandy ... with guidance from the manufacture I tested the system with a multimeter and found no power from the break switch on the pedal ... any guidance or hints gratefully received ! After a few head-scratching hours - I traced the fault to the stoplight switch that had been knocked during the installation of the cruise control.
I found the 2 switches under the dash at the top of the break pedal, was able to feel the micro-switch contact on the pedal plate then gave them a wiggle to see if they were located correctly - the right hand switch felt a little loose. A short twist to the left of the switch gave a smart click and the break lights stated working, the cruise control worked correctly and the Dynamic stability control light stoped coming on ! Hey-Ho ! result after a long day out in the rain but a happy partner with new toys on her 110 !
