Looking forward to seeing and reading more. I’d be tempted to get that chequer plate off the rear crossmember if you can without causing any damage and having a closer look - just in case - certainly before you fit the lovely heritage mudflaps |

Do not worry the first thing that is coming off is that horrible chequer plate!! It’s booked into a local bodyshop to have a few bits sorted - gloss black arches and headlight surrounds, double din centre console painted body colour, the rear cross member and tow bay assembly repainted matt black and any other bits touched up as needed. |
