Hi I have for sale a Genuine 1 owner 78000 mile 2000 90 td5
it does not run due to the sludgy gone off diesel in the fuel tank and lines, it turns over freely and oil is full on the dipstick. It was purchased from a work colleague who's father died and it stood on his farm for 15 years until I collected it, I can tell it was well maintained and running well before it was parked up. It requires from a cursory visual inspection clutch cylinder (no fluid in reservior) , couple peices of welding on two outriggers and bulkhead in engine bay, a brake pipe or two, a suspension turret, new tyres, tank draining and replaced with fresh diesel and new fuel filter, full service and a mot. Comes with full V5 and vin plate matching chassis number. Has a private plate H3EGW I would like to retain once buyer mots it unless a deal for it is done. I am only asking £6500 for it which I think is a good price for such a low miles 1 owner td5 90 that needs a loving home! If required I can get all the work done and MOT done so it is road legal but will require a sizeable deposit and the costs of that work passed on. That was quick! someone rang and viewed it and left a sizeable deposit to return on Wednesday with a trailer to pick it up so looks like its now sold!
For those who missed out on this one, read on:- I have a 2002 52 plate TD5 90 due in from the same farm as the one above, same colour but with way less miles at 21,000 miles on the clock! but there is a good reason for that, It was rolled into a ditch at 1 year old and never claimed on the insurance and parked in a barn and forgotten! so it has some panel damage. I have not seen it yet so I dont know anything apart from what ive written aside from the fact been in the same family/farm from new and it does run drive and stop. I do not know if it has the same bed as above or a standard 90 pick up tub.
