The 2.2 is already loosing a lot of power pushing exhaust gasses through the cat and the the dpf. Will not get better as they start clogging.
So it is like driving uphill all the time, and those are to reduce emissions... haahaaa!! ![]() 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

I would assume that the values are wheel power and not engine, you’ll have somewhere between a 20-25% driveline loss so would be somewhere just under the 140hp mark

BAS will likely claim crank or flywheel BHP, as that shows the increase over the stock figures claimed by LR. That is the norm in tuning industry in the U.K. It may be that the figure is also arrived at without ancillaries like fan, power steering etc. Also dynamometers are notoriously inconsistent as there areo correction factors (temp, air pressure) the operators use which can affect the final figure. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

An easy way to improve engine performance, especially under load and with a remap, is to replace the restrictive air intake ducting from the wing to the airbox with a larger bore pipe.

Why don’t you contact BAS with your question ? I am sure they will have an explanation for you, and then you can share with all.
I have a 2.4 Puma with a BAS tune, and frankly never felt the need to put the Landy on a dyno, as I can feel it pulls and runs much better with the remap 😀 /Mat |
