Do you need waterproof or do you want fancy canvas?

Thanks. Happy to consider either but don't necessarily need water proof.

I've had Escape Gear covers fitted for many years and they are wearing well - although to be honest I do not do a high milage.

Of course you could go second hand M&M for £250...
Forgetting for the moment the amount of butt grime in that canvas, just look at the damage and repairs £250... + £20 P&P flippin' joke... |

I wonder if it would be cheaper to purchase in SA and pay for shipping? I ordered an Escape Gear camvas spare wheel cover as I could not get one in the UK. It only cost £15 quid, and shipping was £19 - so still quite cheap. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond.....

Many thanks to you all for your help (so far!) - there's some lovely stuff there! The Escape Gear look like they're coming in at £288 + £70 p&p - that's for both fronts and the second row 60/40 split seat.
The car is in Corris - so I'm considering going for the grey colour to 'match' the paintwork and 'lift' the interior a bit ...(?) |

Inka covers are same as genuine and available on Amazon and other places. I have complete set of 7 on mine for past 9 years and have lasted well.

I was surprised to see Twisted front seat covers very reasonably priced last year at £30 each!

I have the Escape Gear in grey in a non-LR grey truck and they are superb, I don't work them hard to be fair, but they just fit, look & feel great & though fitting wasn't a five minute job I don't regret in any way Rob 1993 200tdi 90 hard-top 1998 300tdi 90 soft-top 2016 2.2 XS 90 hard-top (sold) |

I have Britpart front seat covers and they are first class. Don't let the name put you off. I fitted them to two Defender Pumas andtwo Defender tdi's. Great quality and a great price. Will send photos if you want. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I have the Exmoor Trim canvas covers in my Puma and there have been a couple of issues. They look very nice but the first problem became apparent when I went to fit them - the front headrest covers are too small and don't fit properly. I raised it with the supplier I got them through who was going to send them back to Exmoor (which is a pain as I'm in the Falklands...) but it all got caught up with the start of Covid in 2020 and I gave up as there were bigger problems to cope with at the time. Click image to enlarge Fast forward to now and on mine, the piping on the outside on the driver's seat base is now quite frayed with sliding in and out of the seat. I've had them since Feb 2020 not but the vehicle has not that much use really - I don't use the vehicle every day - I doubt whether it is equivalent to more than a year or so's wear and tear in a daily driver. It's a shame as I like them otherwise and the canvas material and fit and finish (apart from the headrests!) is very good. --- 2006 Defender 110 SW 300Tdi • 2011 Ford Ranger XLT crewcab • 2015 Defender 110 Station Wagon Utility TDCi |
