110 Truck Cab - HiCap Rear Bulkhead
Hi folks,

I currently have a 110 truck cab. I’m considering turning it into a flatbed but struggling to find out whether I need an entire hi cap rear bulkhead, or whether it’s just a few different cappings + a hand grinder I need!
If anyone has any info or experience on that, it’d be much appreciated!

It depends whether you want it to look nice, or look as though someone has hacked half the body off!

If the former, then you need the hicap or chassis-cab lower rear bulkhead. If the latter, you need an angle grinder and some cutting discs.

Unless the rear body is very poor I would think that the sale of the body would more than cover the cost of the bulkhead, although finding a good hicap bulkhead may not be easy.

[Have a brand new bare one in the shed, no cappings, still in the black primer as sent out by L/R

That answers that then! I assume you can’t get hold of the cappings at that rate! Looks like I’ll be on the hunt for a rear bulkhead. Rear tub is a bit rough but I’m sure I could shift it
