Struggle to insure 90 HT
I came close to having to cancel my new 90 HT because of the difficulty getting a sensible insurance quote. I had to take out a new policy because my current broker’s panel wouldn’t quote on a commercial vehicle.
Calls to numerous local brokers, who I assumed would be familiar with such vehicles, being in a farming area, came up with figures from £1200 to £2500, despite a maximum NCB and a clean record.
Fortunately, the meerkat came to the rescue, and Admiral saved the day with £450. It’s a crazy business!

Did you try Lancaster? They are Landy specialists and were recommended by one of the land rover magazines last year. They halved my renewal quote on a heavily modified 110 HT. It's under £250 now TD5 hardtop to Puma inspired Poptop - my build thread

I found a few that didn’t recognise the vehicle despite knowing what it was, Direct Line being (was) my current insurer. Admiral were up there but eventually went with RAC which I think was around £300 including sensible breakdown cover.
