I guess the colour of the wheels will compliment the roof. Defender 90XS SW

Hi. I had a good look at that vehicle about two months ago (I ended up buying a very similar one). V good condition and looked like it could be a perfect car with a couple minor rectifications.
Think you have bought a good one there. Hope you enjoy it. |

Thanks guys for the comments.
And sorry no new wheel porn yet, got side tracked buying an old trailer off a neighbour for fifty quid. NDF, interesting to hear you looked at it, any faults you noticed? This is it as bought with rubber nudge bar and extra lights which had to go. It belonged to a vicar and has a St Christopher screwed onto the rear body which I think I'll keep for a laugh. Hope to have wheels sorted today. Regards Drew Epsom |

Not many in the way of issues, for a landy anyway
From memory: It continually pulled to the left (not just under breaking). The engine "stuttered" when coming off revs on to tickover. Not seen this before (no oil in harness when I looked). Evidence of filler in NS A post (hardly unusual). Dent in NS sill. Just starting to corrode on front bottom of driver's door, otherwise seemed v rust free. Headlining sagging (how unusual!) and stained. Most of the vehicle was like new. I would have bought her, but for the fact that the dealer was not interested in looking at any of above and was not interested in an offer. Think you have a good car there. |

Thought I recognised this, and the second picture gives it away - you got it from a garage in Ashtead, right? I drove past it regularly, it looked pretty tidy from the outside.
Get friendly with Andy and Dean up at AJS, they'll look after you. Will look good with the limestone wheels on to much the roof, I'll be sure to wave if I see you round Epsom! |

Hi NDF yes it's pretty solid with a comprehensive service history.
I did notice the pulling to the left but I think it had been standing unused for a while and now I've been driving it every day there is only a very slight pull under hard breaking, also noticed the "stuttering" but again this has disappeared after use. LCJ thanks for the AJS tip, where are they based? And as promised some 'after' pics with the Wolf's. AJS are on the A217 near the M25 junction, they’re a site sponsor too so details should be up at the top of the page.

Thanks LCJ.
Have you used them for servicing or just tyres as I might need someone to look at the brake callipers? Don the tyres are Goodyear Wrangler MT/R LT235/85 R 16 and were fitted by the guys at SE Tyres, Epsom who went out of their way to balance them properly without using a tonne of lead weights. AJS are great for servicing as well as tyres. Andy races defenders and Dean builds them for him so they know what they're doing

Hi Guys
After 5 years of happy Land Rover driving it's time to move on/up to a new 2021/22 Defender. So the MO03BUS has to find a new home. But before listing it on the Classifieds I would really like some opinions on it's current value as prices seem to be all over the place. So she's done 88,000 miles and has been regularly serviced by Andy and Dean at AJS I have fitted some Melvill & Moon canvas seat covers over the part leather original seats. She has Air Con, heated seats and electric windows. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Oh and I'm throwing in a trailer for her.
