Spotted this on an Instagram post by landytube.
Looks like a better job than Land Rover would have done if they had just stuck with the classic landy shape. https://Instagram.com/landytube/ Thoughts? Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Hideous and pointless in equal measure, but it's a free world! Well, fairly free anyway.

I’m not tall, but still would not like those switches right next to my knee.

Really touched a nerve with this one...
Personally if someone said to me you can get a new "old" Defender modernised with a digital swanky dash and a better interior, i'd stick a deposit down now. I don't want a Range Rover Sport. I love the looks and feel of the classic Defender but on all of my last ones I've spent a fortune trying to make them more comfortable (suspension and seats). More reliable (LOF output shafts and half-shafts etc.) and more refined. (Soundproofing, carpets etc.) But that's just me... |

It's awful imo, the white trim looks very tacky and would look dirty very quick! I also dislike digital dashboards so a big no for me.
However, auto should have been an option during classic Defender production, I must be getting old 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW 2002 Discovery 2 td5 GS (gone) 1994 Defender 90 300Tdi CSW (gone) |

I'm sure there's a topic further down the forum front page that fits the bill |

It's not going to look like that, nor probably work properly, after meeting muddy wellies followed by a hosepipe.
