New Puma interior. Completely redesigned
Spotted this on an Instagram post by landytube.
Looks like a better job than Land Rover would have done if they had just stuck with the classic landy shape.

Thoughts?

While I'm not a fan of the Puma interior I'm not sure I would call that an upgrade, I like some of the thinking but the finish and colour choices are mid 90s small volume home brew super car.

Hideous and pointless in equal measure, but it's a free world! Well, fairly free anyway.

I’m not tall, but still would not like those switches right next to my knee.
Rest of the design is subjective. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black

Really touched a nerve with this one... Rolling with laughter

Personally if someone said to me you can get a new "old" Defender modernised with a digital swanky dash and a better interior, i'd stick a deposit down now.
I don't want a Range Rover Sport. I love the looks and feel of the classic Defender but on all of my last ones I've spent a fortune trying to make them more comfortable (suspension and seats). More reliable (LOF output shafts and half-shafts etc.) and more refined. (Soundproofing, carpets etc.)

But that's just me... Thumbs Up

It's awful imo, the white trim looks very tacky and would look dirty very quick! I also dislike digital dashboards so a big no for me.

However, auto should have been an option during classic Defender production, I must be getting old Whistle 2004 Defender 90 Td5 CSW
2002 Discovery 2 td5 GS (gone)
1994 Defender 90 300Tdi CSW (gone)

I'm sure there's a topic further down the forum front page that fits the bill Whistle

It's not going to look like that, nor probably work properly, after meeting muddy wellies followed by a hosepipe.
