How to fold rear seats - pull handle doesn’t seem to work?
Hi. Another request for help…. In my double cab I’m trying to tilt the rear seats forward. I’ve removed the bolts that hold the seat backs in place, and i can get the back to fold - but no amount of tugging on the looped handle as shown in manual seems to release the floor striker and let the seats tilt- am I missing some thing? Thanks.

Once you've freed the backs, the bases should tip normally, there are no additional fasteners.

Thanks. Maybe they are just really stiff but they aren’t moving. I’ll just have to use more strength.

So yea it was simple in the end - although I could only get the double seat to tip once the single was tipped …

Also btw - my double cab doesn’t have strikers that can be flattened as in the manual? is that normal? (2013 puma)

The DC strikers are fixed and can't be folded. I suppose that it might be possible to fit SW ones.

Thanks. I don’t think I’ll replace them - it’s just curious LR felt the need to change a part that doesn’t need changing!
