CV joints
Hi guys
My 2.4 Puma has run 320000 km, and I need an advice. Is it time to think about new cv joints?

Congrats on your milage Thumbs Up thats equivalent to almost 200kmiles.
If the CVs are not noisy when you steer, I would leave them alone. But ensure that the swivel seals are in good condition, as the ingress of water is what usually kill the CVs.
I believe for 2007 onwards the CVs do not come on their own, but need to replace the half shafts as well. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

If you do need to replace them (and I agree with the preceding post, only do so if there's a problem) fitting Ashcroft HD shafts and CVs makes a lot of sense.

If you’ve got the time and inclination, take them out, clean the thoroughly and inspect for any signs of scoring on the balls or the bits they run in. It it all looks good, reassemble, fresh grease and you should be good for many more miles. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
