I fitted NRC2119 (rate of 150lb/in) to my CSW as the original setup, same as the springs you mention, I could not call smooth. I also fitted isolators to the rear. I have fitted the NRC2119 to rear of a 2009 HT, and his ride feels better than my CSW... perhaps has to do with the shocks. My CSW is also sitting 1” lower compared to the HT, probably due to weight of seats, matting etc.
Fyi just is case you do not get sorted. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Thank you. I was hoping someone would either have some or offer up something different!
I’ve ordered the front shock absorbers for the rear under recommendation and if I find it to soft they’ll go on the front and correct ones fitted to the back. I’ve got isolators as well for when I change it all over. I’ve seen Britpart springs the right colours but don’t know how they fair quality wise to the genuine parts |

On standard Defenders, the front shocks are pin to pin while the rears are pin to eye. So unless you have an aftermarket conversion for the rear to take the pin/pin arrangement, you cannot fit front shocks on the rear. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

I’ve got pin to pin adapters for the rear to change the top shock mount.
