Lets hope they sort the dealer network and reliability out. It would certainly help profitability....

Probably due at least in part to the 10% price increases in 2022. |

^^^ I wouldn’t think 10% would make that much impact on profit given the rise in cost of raw materials, energy and general inflation.

l wonder how they've done it then, from the losses they posted in the last few years.
However it's happened it's got to be a good thing. lt's surprising how car makers who seem to have full order books and their products are popular, can still make losses l believe British Leyland for instance, never made any actual profit from the original Mini. |

I’m not super attuned to car manufacture, but my understanding is that the profit margins aren’t huge and rely on volume of sales. Don’t quote me, but I’m sure someone once mentioned to me that Nissan were about 1.5% margin, maybe less. That’s why the supply chains have to be so lean. Would not take a great deal to swing either way.

Probably hired Nadhim Zahawito to oversea the accounts.....
Looking at the right to roam over on Dartmoor it only cost £5k to buy a Tory to get your way. |

For sure they've throttled production of lower value models and configuration options.
So the 10% hike in base prices, comes on top of pushing customers up into more expensive models/packs. Depending on how the measurement is made, they do have record numbers of orders - mainly due to the new RR and RRS launches. I'm not sure that should affect actual profits, but for sure they've generated a lot of new business. |
