United Kingdom 1999 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Arles Blue
R380 TD5 Shifter Threads
My father is custom turning some wood shifter knobs and we want to make sure the threads are 100%. I found the gear shifter is ½” UNF and differential is M10. But which M10, M10-1.5 or M10-1.25? My hunch is 1.5 since very few things in a Defender are ‘precise’! 🤣

Thanks in advance!

Wooden knobs... How lovely.... Are you going to scribe the gear positions in to the top of them?

As for the thread size, the best way is with a thread gauge https://www.amazon.co.uk/Stainless-Thread-...&psc=1
