How can one access the rubber boot/grommet or firewall ?
Hello
Probably the question was asked already-

I want to know the easiest way to access the large rubber boot/grommet on the drivers side.
What's the easiest way to make a punched hole with cable waterproof again: tape or silicon?
What do I need to remove inside the get the easiest way the cable inside the cabin?

Pictures would be helpful.

Thx a lot
Manou

EDIT: Problem solved!
I found this link with a complete pictured instructions (PDF)

No Idea, but Powerful UK seem to manage to get everywhere on a Defender. Have a look at You Tube or their site. Thumbs Up Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

I really like Simons videos. They are made pro and understandable in plain English (including jokes and misfits)
But until now I haven't seen Powerful UK nor any other video getting a cable inside. They all talk about "go through the firewall" but I want to know where the cable goes through without unmounting the complete car Laughing 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)

I like Lucky 8. Great videos.

I wonder how it looks on a right hand drive car? Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

I think the same just mirrored to the right as the firewall goes into the dashboard. I knew that but I wanted to see pictures or video to have a better idea without breaking something.

I will make the changes this week. I will post pictures here once I'm finished. 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)
