It's probably nothing to worry about, just top up the brake fluid.
As the pads wear the fluid level in the reservoir drops a little. The sensor in the cap is very sensitive and when you go downhill or brake the fluid moves to the front of the reservoir away from the sensor, and of course braking lowers it more. On my Def to prevent the effect you describe I need to keep the fluid level at the bottom of the reservoir neck, well above the "min" mark. |

Mine did that, the contacts in then old switch were goosed. New one solved it.

I had corroded brake pipe which caused that problem. Check the level. |
